The room is ready. The floor is freshly washed and waxed. So fresh, that the wax fumes are making me a little giddy. (Okay, not really. But the odor does fill the house.) I've put nothing on the walls yet. The table must be the first item in the room -- all else will be designed around the table. I've got plans for the walls -- a southwestern motif. The table, a Connelly Azteca, has Aztec-style designs carved into the wood (solid maple in this case), so the room decor shall match appropriately.Lighting is something we'll need to improve rather quickly. Right now the only light in the room is a ceiling fan with a dome light. And it's not even centered on the ceiling. I'm looking at either one of those "bar" lights that have three lamps suspended from a bar, or flourescent tube lighting like some factories have hanging over workbenches.
