Our Personal Pool History

When I created this site, I had been married almost eight years. We've both played pool most of our lives, but off and on and not usually seriously.

One thing we have both always wanted is our own pool table. Without going into details, a large room in our house became vacant. Yup, our thoughts were identical: we'll make it a pool room! Helping this dream along was a generous income tax refund in 1997. We were going to get the table anyway, but the IRS kept us from going in debt for it.

I thought that our experiences with buying a pool table might interest, and maybe even help, other people about to make the same decision. That is the premise on which this website was developed, but I expect it will expand beyond that.
